Business skills assessment
Running a successful business requires a strong commitment and a variety of skills. To help you understand the skills you have and those you will need to learn or to delegate to others, we offer this free self-assessment.
What to expect?
Our assessment asks about 70 multiple-choice questions about your sales and marketing, financial management and business planning skills. There are no right or wrong answers. The survey is simply an opportunity for you to reflect on the talents and expertise you’ve acquired and for us to become acquainted with you and your business.
Please be frank in answering all of the questions. Otherwise, our feedback won’t be effective.
We suggest planning 20-30 minutes of uninterrupted time to complete the online survey. If you close it before you’re finished, you’ll have to start again from the beginning.
After you complete and submit the assessment, we’ll send you a graph depicting your self-described skill levels.
“I tend to be extremely busy day to day and haven’t taken the time to develop long-term strategic goals. My assessment brought this to light. I realize that the creation of a forward-looking business plan is essential to my future success.”
Why is it useful?
The skills assessment is a valuable opportunity for self-reflection. Business owners often feel too busy to deal with matters beyond immediate activities and challenges. Yet long-term planning is essential to your business’s viability.
The assessment also helps us to quickly become familiar with you and your business. Knowing how you view your strengths and weaknesses as a business owner will guide our recommendations for skill building that will help your company become more resilient, adaptable and secure.
