Centrix President/CEO Joseph B. Reilly presented the annual award, honoring business leaders who best exemplify an entrepreneurial spirit with a forward-thinking mindset, at the Outstanding Women in Business reception hosted by the New Hampshire Business Review at LaBelle Winery in Amherst, N.H.
Eades was also one of six Outstanding Women in Business award recipients.
“It gives me great pleasure to present the C-Beyond Award to Julie for her many years of service and commitment to the Community Loan Fund,” said Joseph B. Reilly, President/CEO. “Not only has she grown her organization to a bustling not-for-profit, but she championed a new method of financing to assist entrepreneurs with obtaining capital, and helped create the national organization of CDFIs known as the Opportunity Finance Network.”
"I want to thank Joe Reilly, who has been a longtime partner and friend of the Community Loan Fund, and the New Hampshire Business Review for these awards," Eades said.
“It was so great to look out at all of our donors, investors, borrowers and partners, not just at the Community Loan Fund table, but also at the tables of the other Outstanding Women in Business. So many people in that room could feel proud for helping make possible the success that I was honored for leading.”
Centrix Bank has been the sole sponsor of the Outstanding Women in Business event since 2009, and established the C-Beyond Award in 2011.
Eades was the second person to receive the C-Beyond Award. New Hampshire Public Radio President and CEO Betsy Gardella received the first award in 2012.
