After leaving the corporate world of software training, it took me a while to find my niche in the nonprofit world. I explored careers with religious, educational, mental health, and environmental organizations, but nothing ever felt like it fit “just right” – until, that is, I landed at the Community Loan Fund in December 2009. Never before had I felt my employer’s mission and values so closely aligned with my own personal beliefs and pursuit of social justice.

I graduated summa cum laude from Granite State College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science, and am currently working on my Master of Education degree at Plymouth State University. I hope to use my Master’s degree to continue to contribute to the growth and excellence of the Community Loan Fund.

Aside from work and school, I serve on the board of directors of the Roots & Gospel Project, a small arts and cultural nonprofit based on the Seacoast. When I have spare time, I volunteer at the local soup kitchen and the cold weather shelter, and I enjoy all manner of outdoor activities, particularly biking, camping and hiking.

As the Investor and Donor Relations Administrator, I have the distinct honor of interacting with many of our supporters – whether long-time, new, or potential friends of the Community Loan Fund – who share our vision of equal financial opportunity for all. There’s nothing I enjoy more than conversation with folks who support us, or those who have never heard of us, and I’ve been told I beam when I talk about my work here. So please – ask me about the Community Loan Fund. You’re sure to get an enthusiastic response!
